Ella is 18 Months

Ella is changing so much!  I can't believe she is 18 months already.  She officially went to nursery the Sunday before Conference and did great.  It's been a little rocky since but I'll keep my fingers crossed that she likes it again this Sunday.

Anyway.  Ella is such a funny little girl.  She is our most verbal at this age.  She pretty much lets you know what she wants and doesn't want and has quite the vocabulary.  The best is when she says "yes" if you ask her a question.  I'll have to get that on video and post some footage.  She also tells you she has to go potty by ripping off her diaper and yelling "potty" while she's opening the door to the bathroom.  She sits on the toilet and we have a little conversation.  She's gone potty twice and poop 3 times on the toilet.  She really wants to be a big girl.  Her latest thing is shoes.  She is obsessed.  She is the official "shoe police" as she gathers Braden and Taylor's shoes around the house and puts them away in the shoe basket.  When I tell her it's time to go she yells "shoes" and goes running to the basket.  She likes to pick out everyone's shoes to wear and insists on you wearing them even if you don't want those particular shoes.   The tricky part with her shoe obsession is she won't let you take off her shoes to change her diaper.  Maybe I will be potty training her soon!  ;o)

She had her 18 month check-up on Monday and it was confirmed that she is a tall, skinny little girl.  The doctor was impressed with her vocabulary as Ella was talking the entire time.  Andy and I kept laughing because she was so hyper.

For those that are interested to know the stats she was 19 lbs 3 oz (2%) and 33 1/2 inches long (91%).  Like I said, TALL and SKINNY.
