Ancraophobia
I bet most of you read the title as "arachnophobia" which we are dealing with as well. But I'm talking about "ancraophobia" or "anemophobia." Do you know what it is? Well, it is the fear of wind. Ella has it big time and I haven't thought much of it until lately as it has ruled our lives. She has always hated the wind and has told the wind to stop ever since she started talking. But recently she cries and tells us the wind is scary. We have to cover her from head to toe with a towel and hold her. So why has it ruled our lives? We live in a pretty windy place. In fact, I can't remember the last day there wasn't at least a constant breeze in the air. So she doesn't want to go outside and if she does it's not for very long and she must wear pants and a hooded jacket. Very practical for our 90 + degree weather we've had. Has anyone ever dealt with this? Suggestions? I hope it's something she'll grow out of because we're not moving anytime soon. ;)

Wow! I had no idea Ella hated the wind. Sorry wish I had some suggestions for you. Hopefully she will grow out of it.
I've never even knew that there was a word for being afraid of the wind!
