Taylor's Trip to the Dentist
Last Wednesday I took Taylor to the dentist to get 2 fillings. She was so excited and had no idea what to expect so I really didn't tell her what was going on. A guy in our ward is our dentist and is also the assistant scout leader with Andy. So Taylor knows him well enough to be, well, Taylor. Giggly, silly, and of course super cute. So after we got to the office they called Taylor's name and she told me to stay there as she walked back to the room by herself. I went back just to make sure she was fine and went back into the waiting area. About 10 minutes later I hear her screaming at the top of her lungs and thought that Josh was giving her the shot. I went back and poked my head around the corner and asked Josh if he wanted me to come in. I went into the room and asked him if she was crying because he gave her the shot. He said no and explained that he gave her a shot a few minutes before that and she didn't even flinch. Go figure. So I sat Taylor up to figure out what was going on. After many tears and screams she looked Josh straight in the eyes and said, "Give me back my cheek!" We both started busting up laughing. Now that Taylor knows what to expect with the 'numbing feeling' she asks everyday if she can go back to the dentist. Good thing because we have another appointment next Wednesday for 2 fillings on the other side. ;)

That is the cutest and the funniest comment EVER!! PRICELESS memories! =)
That's a bummer about the fillings, but great that she's not scared about shots. What a tough girl!
That is so funny! My girls love to go to the dentist.
Funny girl! I'm am happy to hear that Carson is not the only one that has had to have some fillings! I have to say Uncle Jared is the best dentist and made our experience with Carson great! I am glad that you had a positive experience with Taylor. I have heard horror stories about people taking their kids to pediadontist and I think I will avoid them!
