I Guess We had Summer...Beach Trip 2012

With year around school you go 9 weeks on 3 weeks off all year around so it doesn't really feel like "summer" just more like being "off track."  We planned our annual trip to the beach during our 3 week break in July.  Just like the years past it didn't disappoint.   Just felt a little colder than usual.  Or maybe I'm just getting older but I felt like I spent a lot of time wrapped up in several towels to keep warm.  Braden spent his 9th birthday at the beach and got to celebrate it with Annette's sister Laura this year.  Our kids love this trip and look forward to it every year.  More eventful things that happen this year from the years past are Braden losing his glasses in the ocean, kayaking, and lots of gymnastics for Taylor on the sand.  They aren't fans of being in the water a lot yet but they'll get there.  Maybe never like Britney but that's ok.  I don't think any of us could compete with her.  She's in the water all. day. long!!
