Taylor has been ready to be baptized all year and couldn't wait for this day to come. She is a special girl and has such a sweet spirit. She has such a strong testimony of the gospel and shares a pure, sweet testimony every Fast Sunday. She is such a great example not only to her siblings, but us as her parents. At times I feel so overwhelmed with this huge responsibility of raising kids and teaching them the gospel. I have moments like today where I think we must be doing alright. I was able to watch her get baptized from the stairs of the font so I could be there with a towel when she was done. She walked up the stairs with the biggest smile and gave me a hug and told me how much she loved me and how she would never forget today. I hope she never does because I know I never will.
It was a crazy week leading up to her baptism since we put our house on the market and sold it all in the same week. But she was ready and it was a great day. I'm grateful to all our family who came and showed their love and support. It meant the world to Taylor and she felt so special and loved. She was one of 6 kids being baptized in our ward so it was fun for her to share the day with so many of her friends. Her cousin, Camryn, was baptized earlier that morning so they got to share the day as well.
