First Day of School--Ella and Taylor

Taylor and Ella were the last ones to start school.  They started on Wednesday, August 21st.  Ella is in 1st grade and Taylor is in 3rd grade.  They both have great teachers and their best friends in their class with them.  Taylor was a little worried about having a girl in her class again that was really mean to her last year.  I got my first experience at how mean girls can be.  This girl wrote Taylor the meanest, nastiest note I've ever seen.  The teacher and principal were involved with it before I even got the phone call about it last year.  So needless to say I was shocked when they were put in the same class this year.  Taylor always amazes me at her Christ like attitude and decided that she was going to make her a friendship bracelet with hopes of having a great year with her.  Unfortunately it only lasted a day.  Taylor broke down crying on Thursday night saying that Grace was being mean to her again.  I hope it will get better!  Ella is loving school but comes home everyday saying it was a very long day and that she wishes she could come home and have lunch with me.  It's a big adjustment to go to school all day long but she's doing great.
