Ears Pierced

We decided to allow our girls to get their ears pierced when they are 8 years old.  Unfortunately for Taylor turning 8 happened during a very busy and hectic time in our lives.  She has waited very patiently for 5 months and on Labor Day she asked if we could go get them done.  So that is what we did.  She was excited to get them done but a little nervous.  I was surprised that she said it hurt because she loves to get shots at the doctor.  Yes, you read right.  She begs to have the flu shot instead of the nasal mist stuff.  All my girls do.  Braden looks at them like they're crazy and happily obliges to sniff the mist while watching his sisters get shots.  Anyway, Taylor said it hurt really bad and she'll never get it done again.  Luckily we were able to get them done at the same time otherwise she might have only had one ear pierced.
