What a special day for our special girl! Ella was baptized on her birthday! She was so excited and a little bit nervous. She had lots of family there. Grandma and Papa McCune, and Grandma Miller along with Aunts, Uncles, cousins all of which I didn't get a single picture of. The only one I did manage to get was her school teacher, Miss Shaw. I'm so grateful to everyone who came to show her love and support. It definitely made the day that much more special. Our stake recently changed the way they do baptisms. Instead of doing it on a stake level they changed it to a ward level. Ella and Bridger Moody were the only ones for our ward for May baptisms so it was fun to plan out the program with his mom, Jenny. Ella wanted Grandma Miller to lead the music and Grandma McCune to give the talk on the Holy Ghost. She did such a great job. Afterward we had a lunch with everyone who came and then we had cake and she opened a few presents. Ella also wanted to go get her ears pierced so after everyone left we went and got her ears pierced. I'm so glad Ella wanted to get baptized. She is such a good girl and loves her Heavenly Father and Jesus very much. She has a sweet spirit and I hope she'll always remember this special day.
