Tomatoes

Holy cow! My tomatoes were impressive this year. My final harvest was over 150 pounds!! I think I easily harvested close to 500 pounds for the entire growing season. Luckily Ella and Lily were off track and were able to be big helpers since I was beginning to get burned out of canning. I guess the good thing about snow means my canning season is over. It was my first year to can anything other than jam and I really enjoyed it. I just got up to my eyeballs with my explosive tomato plants. I canned 24 quarts and 12 pints of salsa, 12 quarts of tomatoes. I was also able to can 29 quarts of peaches.
