Ella. My sweet, little Ella. It's hard to believe she is 10! She's growing up and becoming her own. She is still my little fashionista. Only wears skirts and dresses and is very particular about her hair. She has such a sweet, tender heart. She requires many hugs a day and lots of love. I like to think I'm still her best friend but it might be a tie with Lily. A few months ago something clicked with piano and she is just zipping through everything and has really improved. Ella is my cautious child. Very calculated and thoroughly thoughtout. She's definitely her mother's daughter. She loves doing tumbling and has done very well at her new school this year in fourth grade. Apparently all the boys in her class have crushes on her and it's not hard to see why. She's just the cutest thing and is so thoughtful and nice to everyone. I go in and volunteer in her class every Monday and I feel like I'm a rockstar because I'm Ella's mom. She somehow convinced us to get a bunny last week. I'm still scratching my head at how that happened. Her friend Megan was giving hers away and Ella was sad at the thought that a stranger would get her friend's bunny. Andy thought it would be a good idea and now we have a bunny in our backyard! The funny thing is she doesn't like animals and I don't think she's even touched Mr. Hops yet but she did it because she knew it would make Lily and Taylor happy. That's how Ella works. She likes to make people happy and she'll sacrifice and compromise to make sure that happens. We're so blessed to have Ella in our family! She's such a good sister and friend. All Ella wanted for her birthday was to go shopping, try on dresses, and maybe buy one or two? Those were her words. Easy to please, that's our Ella. She is off track for 3 weeks so we spent the day shopping until she dropped and then she went to tumbling. She was so happy to get not one, not two, but three dresses! The whole way home she kept asking, "Are you sure it's ok that you got me 3 dresses, because I don't have to keep all of them." We ended the day celebrating her with her other requests, homemade Cafe Rio prok salads and Texas sheet cake. I love you my little Ella Bella!!
