Pacific City

Our last day in Oregon we headed to the coast. I'm always so surprised at how cold it is on the coast. We arrived and it was a balmy 65 degrees. Almost 30 degree difference from the temperature in Sherwood. We spent the day in Pacific City. It was a beautiful long, wide beach with a huge sand hill that we climbed to warm up. It ended up being such a gorgeous day. The kids had so much fun playing together. They even got in the freezing water. I laughed when we saw these 2 little kids next to us with full on winter attire from the waist up (snow jacket, hat, scarf) jumping in the water. I guess that's how you do beach days in Oregon.

We were so happy that it worked out to visit Jen, Earl, Allison, Ethan, and Tyson. And such a fun bonus with Jared, Annette, Britney, Alexa, Brad, and Natalie. Time goes by so fast and we just don't see them as often as we'd like. My kids just love being with their cousins and I'm so glad we were able to create more memories together.
