We were excited to get away for Fall Break. The kids and I have never been to Colorado so we decided to go explore Steamboat Springs. The weather was perfect for enjoying the hot springs and hiking. The first day we went to Strawberry Hot Springs. We didn't know what to expect and thought we would be there for a few hours but we were quite surprised at how many pools there were and how empty it was. We practically had the whole place to ourselves and the kids loved going from the "arctic pool" to the hottest pool. Lily found a water snake in the cooler pool and named it Diamond. I think she always finds and names a surprise animal everywhere we go. We ended up staying most of the day and had so much fun at Strawberry Hot Springs.
