A Glimpse into the Life of an Indecisive Perfectionist

So, I'm referring to ME!! In case you didn't know, I'm a very indecisive person. Having to make a decision big or small is a huge deal and can take days, months, and sadly, sometimes years to make. Mix that with the perfectionist that I try to be and it can almost become debilitating. I mostly prefer to have someone else make the decisions for me but I know that isn't always an option. For me, this is the hardest part of being a grown-up. Making decisions!! I don't know if it has anything to do with growing up being the youngest and generally not having the option of having an opinion in the decision making? Anyway. Here is a glimpse into my life right now. Andy wanted to get new furniture for the office. Easy, right? Well, I couldn't decide if I liked the black or the cream (Andy thought it was more yellow than cream) set. I liked the cream, well, yellow set but wanted to like the black and since I didn't love either I was having a bit of a dilemma. Solution? Paint them both! So we have one painted, the cream one on the left in the picture, and we'll paint the black one to match on Monday. Don't worry, if you're disappointed because you liked the black one more, give it a few years and I'm sure we'll be changing it again. Hopefully by then I'll have the room decorated...
