The Lost Tooth

I think the pictures pretty much sum up the experience. Taylor really wanted to lose her loose tooth before she turned six. In my opinion it wasn't ready quite yet and I don't think I was ready. I obviously love teeth ;) but I especially love baby teeth that are so tiny and perfect. I wasn't ready to have her smile change in an instant from a little girl to a big girl but she convinced Daddy to pull it out for her before bedtime. He got some sort of pliers out and pulled it out. She wanted to cry but was so excited at the same time. It was hilarious. With all the excitement of all the kids wanting to see the tooth it got dropped into the carpet and got lost. Luckily I was able to find it! She told me that a kid in her class got 20 bucks from the tooth fairy and Braden proceeded to tell us about his friend who got $100 for his first tooth. Seriously?? Taylor really wanted dollar bills and was happy when she woke up to find 3 one dollar bills. Now she's asking about getting her ears pierced. My little girl is growing up and I don't think I'm ready to let it happen!
