I don't do New Year's Resolutions. Never have and don't plan on starting to anytime soon. ;) But this year I wanted to tackle a (little or big) project each month and try to keep on track for the year. So I decided this month was about getting the hair bows, elastics, etc under control. I find them on my dresser, in the toy room, in the kitchen, in the car... pretty much anywhere and everywhere except for where they are supposed to be. It's been bugging me for quite a while and I wasn't sure how to fix the problem. I searched pinterest for ideas and only found extravagant, cutesy ideas. I needed practical and functional. A week ago I finally thought of the solution for it. Maybe it's nothing new, but I've never seen it before and I'm very pleased with how it turned out. I bought a shoe organizer that hangs on the back of doors and hung it on the inside of the linen closet door in the kids' bathroom. Life changing? Maybe not, but it sure brings a smile to my face every time I see it!
