Christmas 2014!

We had a wonderful Christmas.  Simple and beautiful.  We try so hard to focus on Jesus and not fuss about Santa and presents every year.  So far we've been successful and for that we're very grateful.  The kids don't really ask for anything for Christmas since that isn't our focus which makes Christmas morning all the more magical.  No expectations only shocked and excited faces with what they receive.  Braden got Mario Kart 8 and a remote control helicopter.  Taylor got my old iPhone to use as an iPod and a watch.  Ella got the American Girl Doll Isabelle, and Lily got Frozen princess dolls. The sweetest surprised faces as the presents were opened.  An image I hope I never forget.

This season was especially sweet this year.  The spirit was very tender and tugged on my heart and weighed on my mind during this Christmas Season.  One that I won't forget.  I want to be more like Him.  He is the gift.  The greatest gift we could ever receive.  "Let every heart prepare him room..."  May you feel the warmth of the season all year long.
