And May All Your Christmases Be White...

We had a white Christmas!  It also happened to be the first real snow of the season and the kids were ecstatic!  We spent the whole afternoon sledding and perfecting our very own sledding hill in the backyard.  The kids have waited years for this and it did not disappoint.  When we bought the lot they were most excited about the hill in the backyard for sledding.  Truth be told, I can't stand snow.  I was just pleased to see that it snowed the day after the first day of Winter.  It always makes me laugh when people complain about not having snow yet.  Really? According to seasons we were still in Fall a week ago.  Hopefully when the first day of Spring appears it will start raining instead of snowing?  I always say I can tolerate seasons as long as the elements stay within their seasons.  It's when the snow outstays its welcome that I'm over it.  Perhaps this new sledding hill will make the snow season more bearable.  Here's to hoping!
