School Pictures

Braden had school pictures a few weeks before the girls did. He was past due for a haircut so I didn't even bother to take a picture before he headed out the door. This school year has been so busy already I can hardly keep up! Ella for some reason was very excited about school pictures this year and wanted to pick out her outfit weeks before it was going to happen. I kept pushing it back knowing she would change her mind 215 times if we planned that far in advance. The night before picture day the excitement hit it's climax and I've never been more grateful my kids wear uniforms as I was in that moment. Dress down for pictures about put me over the edge with my little fashionista. Two hours later we were still in one piece (sanity hanging by a thread) and had narrowed it down to 4 outfits for Miss Ella. Bless her heart. She was so cute as she fussed over every option trying to figure out the perfect outfit. I guess school uniforms cramp her style so she had to seize the opportunity to wear whatever her little heart desired? It was way past bedtime so I tucked Ella into bed and told her we could finalize her decision in the morning. I told her to dream about which outfit she wanted. Luckily this morning she was super excited about her outfit and everything went smoothly, including the hair. Oh, how I love these little cuties. They are the cutest, sweetest little things. Growing up way too fast but I love every ounce of who they are becoming.
