This girl. Seriously. She's growing up. I'm seeing such a change in her this year and it's bittersweet. Taylor is awesome! She amazes me with everything she does. She puts her heart and soul into everything and is committed 110%. She's a perfectionist and a fierce competitor with herself. She is very goal oriented and wants to be better everyday in all aspects of her life. She makes new goals every Sunday for the week and tapes it to her headboard to look at them every night. She's a great student. She is my reader. She spends most of her free time reading or practicing piano. Lately at school she has been playing basketball during recess. When she first started talking about it I was surprised because my kids have never played basketball-like never ever even dribbled a ball. So when I asked her how it was going she nonchalantly said, "Oh, I'm pretty good. Actually, I beat all the boys so now I'm the captain of one of the teams." She says it as if it was no biggie. That sums up Taylor perfectly. She doesn't make a big deal out of anything and just wants to be her best self. She brings out the best in everyone around her. I'm proud to call her mine.
