Lily's First Grade Performances

Lily had a fun year of learning and growing in 1st grade. It was fun to be a part of so much of it with her. She was a lion for the life cycle play that they put on. I got there early because Lily wanted me to be on the front row. She ended up having someone with rabbit ears sitting in front of her and blocked her face the entire time. I was cracking up at the irony of getting there early so I could see her and that was my view. I was also able to go with her to Wheeler Farms. I love how I have to wake her up every morning for school. She wakes up so happy so it makes it worth having to wake up that sweet face every morning. At the end of the year she had her reader's theatre where she performed "The Princess and the Pea." She is such a good reader and was quite the little performer on stage. She has grown so much this year and has loved having Mrs. Palmer as her teacher.
