I'm happy we were able to modify our trip with my parents and still make it to California with them. With Mike's passing we weren't sure how it would work with the funeral but we were able to get away and spend time together. I'm grateful we were able to create these memories together. Life is short and death is always a reminder of how fragile life can be. I love the beach and sunshine and we were able to enjoy both with people I love. Happy times for sure!
