Many of you may know that Braden loves Spider-Man. (Love is an understatement!) It all started back at the beginning of November when he came upstairs and asked if he could watch Spider-Man. Andy and I were a little confused because we didn't know how he knew who Spider-Man was. I think maybe a boy at school talked about it?? We really don't know! Well, it just so happened that Spider-Man was on TV so Andy sat down and watched it with him and the rest is history! We went to Grandma and Papa's for Thanksgiving and they had a Spider-Man costume that made his obsession worse. All he wanted for Christmas was for Santa to bring him a costume--nothing else! Good thing Santa pulled through and found him one! Phew! :) He wears it everyday and only takes it off to go to preschool, church, take a bath, and for it to be washed. It really cuts down on laundry. He now has spider-man everything--poster and calendar (from Grandma and Papa), puzzle, PJs, slippers, toys, movies, and books. He calls Taylor "MJ" and she loves it. I find them downstairs playing Spider-Man with her Dora castle. It's so cute! He used to say, "I want to make Jesus happy." Now he says, "I want to make Spider-Man happy." (We're working on that one.) A few weeks ago I was telling Braden how much Jesus loves him and he told me that Jesus loves Spider-Man too. Every morning he reassures me that he hasn't turned into Spider-Man by saying, "Mommy, I'm not Spider-Man, I'm just Braden." My favorite thing he says is, "Thank-you Mommy. You make Spider-Man so happy!" So cute! Oh, the fun of having a boy!!!
