It was official on January 2nd. Ella told me her binkies were "yucky" so I told her to throw them in the garbage. She was all excited and wanted daddy to help her so they went to the kitchen and Andy opened the garbage and Ella threw them in. That was it. She went to bed that night no problem. She asked for them a few days later when we were in the car. I asked her where they were and she said "In the garbage, yucky!" She hasn't asked for them since. I thought it would be much harder to get rid of her binkies because she was completely attached to them. So at exactly 20 months she is binky-free and is talking nonstop. Now that she is a big girl she wants to sleep in Braden and Taylor's room. I tried it on Tuesday night when Andy was working late. She didn't take a nap that day and I thought she would go right to sleep. Well, she wouldn't stop talking to Braden and Taylor and when they fell asleep and weren't responding to her she got out of bed and was trying to wake them up. She was not a happy girl when I put her back in her crib for bed. I think we'll try it again in a few weeks.

Darbilyn accidentally flushed her very last one down the toilet when she was 2 and I just knew she was going to throw a fit! I was wrong! She never looked back! These kids are amazing. We don't give them enough credit sometimes! =) Garrett and Bethany weren't binky babies so now we just get to worry about Jaxon soon! =)
