Taylor was SO excited about her birthday party. She kept asking me if it was time for her friends to come over. She was very excited to play the "donkey game" (aka 'pin the tail on the donkey') and as soon as her friends came she was lining them up to play. They also played hot potato and BINGO. Taylor had six friends come (4 girls and 2 boys) and I think they all great time. I made her a Princess Cake and she loved it. After Taylor opened her presents I had her pass out the "party favors" to all her friends. I made the boys reversible superman/batman capes and the girls tutus. They quickly put them on and went downstairs to play until their parents came. Overall I think it was a great success being the first birthday party I've ever put together but it sure was a lot of work. Taylor was really overwhelmed with all the presents that we have yet to give her the presents from us. I think we'll do that tonight. Taylor woke up this morning and asked if she was going to have another birthday party. I think it's a good thing that birthdays only come once a year.
