Baby Update

Sorry it has been a while! Things have been busy to say the least. We decided to put our home in Ogden up for sale the second week of May and have been up there 2 to 3 times a week fixing, painting, cleaning, and everything else you do when you get a house ready to go on the market. We are doing this to try to simplify our life. Ironically, our life has never been so busy and NOT simple but once it sales it will all be worth it.

I might do some back-blogging this week to catch up the month of May but I can't promise that I'll have the time or energy to do that so I thought I should just do an update on the baby. I had a doctor's appointment this morning and I'm dilated to a 2. After the doctor told me I was at a 2 he paused and then said he was definitely feeling the baby's head! That was the best news because the baby has been breech this entire pregnancy and I was told at my last appointment that the odds of the baby turning this late on her own were slim to none. I was very happy but the doctor had to warn me that since the baby hasn't dropped, there is still a possibility that she could turn back around.

As far as a naming this baby, we are pretty sure it will be Lily/Lillie. A month ago Andy said he liked the name McCall but I think we've called her Lily/Lillie for too long that it seems strange to call her anything else. But as you can see, we haven't decided on the spelling of it. ;) When I see Lily I just think flower and not a name that is why I like Lillie but I don't know with Miller if I like it. Andy thinks I'm overanalyzing it and likes the spelling either way so I guess it's up to me. We're leaning toward no middle name unless I have a conversation with Kim and change my mind. So what do you think? Lily Miller or Lillie Miller

And I just have to share this story. Yesterday Ella went and got her shoes on (not unusual, the girl loves shoes) but then she came running to me and grabbed my arm and was saying, "Let's go! Let's go!" I asked her where she wanted to go and she said, "Let's go get baby Lily/Lillie. She's ready!" Oh, if it were only that easy to go "get" your baby when they're ready.

I like it with Lily. But either way, I love the name! I'm glad you blog - I love catching up on your life. My little girl is sitting in my chair with me and asked how I know you. I told her that I've known you since you were my daughter's age (4) - probably even before that though. She laughed and told me that I'm old. :) Anyway, its good to read your blog every now and then. Sorry about the insurance messes ... seems like its either great or horrible when it comes to insurance.

I like Lily Miller. There is the cutest girl in our ward named Lily. That seems to be the way I have seen it spelled. But whatever you choose will be great! Glad to hear she has turned. Hopefully that doesn't mess up your chance for a pre-July birth.

Love the name Lillie!! A childhood friend spells it with 2 l's and so do the little girls I know here. I like it either way....so cute! And, McCall does my hair so I like it too ;) Glad to hear things are winding down and going so well for you! Can't wait to see her!

I like Lillie. It's not the common way to spell things and I like that. Although, she'll ALWAYS have to spell her name out for people to spell it right or just get used to it ALWAYS being spelled wrong like my name ALWAYS is! =)

Congratulations! I always pictured you with several little girls (all blonde, of course). My vote would be for Lillie because I hope that someday there will be a Lily or Lili Hammari and I don't want you to think I'm copying you. :) No, that is not an announcement. Mayumi isn't even a year old yet, and I can't imagine having two babies right now. Hope everything goes well with the labor!

Hey Julianne, i've been thinking about you lots...just waiting for that phone call that you've had the baby. I'm jealous you're so close! I also love the name you picked out but sorry no suggestions on how to spell they both look good to me...sorry. I think Chris and I are planning a trip up in a few weeks so go do some jumping jacks to get that baby here for us to see her! :)

Okay, you asked us so I'm going to share my thoughts on the name. I love the name and would go for the spelling: Lillie! And hay put a twist on things, use McCall as the middle name. Why not, live on the wild side. Just a thought.
Either one is way cute. You'll know what to name her and how to spell it once you see her beautiful face. This Auntie can't wait.
