I don't recall the kids ever being really excited for the Easter Bunny. In fact, I can't remember if the Easter Bunny came the past few years. So I was a little puzzled when the kids were talking about the Easter Bunny and all the things they were going to get. The Easter Bunny came despite Andy being on call and all the snow outside. (Braden asked if the Easter Bunny liked snow. ;)) Luckily the eggs were hidden inside and the kids thought it was hilarious that their baskets were hidden in Grandma and Papa's room (aka the guest room). Braden got Wii Resort which Santa forgot about so he was thrilled. The girls got baby dolls like the ones Grandma McCune has in her toy room. And there was enough candy to keep the kids quiet to listen to Conference. We had a very relaxing day watching Conference and had grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner. Like I said, it was relaxing. ;) (I decided to have Easter dinner on Wednesday so Andy could be there and we invited our friends over who had a baby the week before.) Before going to bed we talked with the kids about why we celebrate Easter. (Taylor was positively sure that Jesus and the Easter Bunny have the same birthday and are friends.)
