We had a Ward Talent Show and I decided to sign Taylor up to share her rather unique talent. She wasn't too keen on the idea of getting up and performing until she realized it would be like Britney (think The Chipmunks Squeakquel) and was totally excited. The day arrived and she was so excited. She kept looking at the clock to see how much longer it would be. She chose her outfit she wanted to wear and had me do her hair like Britney. The night started out with some of the young women doing a dance to Hannah Montana. Then they called Taylor up next. I think she was a little nervous but not quite sure what to do since she was the first "solo performer." But in true Taylor fashion she got up there and held the microphone and performed her talent. So, what was her talent??? She taught herself how to sing the alphabet backwards. Of course when Andy went to turn on the video camera to record it the battery died. (Isn't that how it always works??) I managed to get one picture of my brave little girl up their on stage in front of a pretty big crowd. I was one proud Mama.
