Gymnastics

The girls had their end of the year gymnastics performances.  Taylor was excited but a little nervous about it.  Taylor's class performed to "We're Going to the Zoo" and they showed off their back handsprings, aerials, front walkovers, and other tricks.  Taylor has been talking about her performance at school and I got an email from her teacher, Ms. Bertelson, saying she wanted to come watch Taylor perform.  Taylor was so excited that she came.  She really went above and beyond to make Taylor feel special.
Ella had her performance a few days later with just her class instead of the huge production that they do for the older girls.  She is so shy!  She doesn't like the spotlight so she wouldn't do her back walkover.  Not all the girls in her class have them so the ones that do had to go front and center and show them off.  Ella refused.  She would only do the tricks that all the girls could do.  She moves up in June so her next performance is with the whole studio of girls and they perform in front of hundreds of people.  It will be interesting to see how it goes!  They both are great little gymnasts!  I love watching my girls do gymnastics!
