Andy bought me a new sewing machine at the end of December. I really like sewing even though I've never taken any lessons. I've mostly learned from watching and asking Morag questions and reading books, manuals, and blogs. I got into sewing doll clothes for the girls since they got American Girl dolls for Christmas. They get the magazines and circle all the outfits they love and I can't justify paying $28-$32 an outfit when I can make them for much less! Their friends come over and love that the girls have so many outfits to change their dolls into and I get a request by the end of the play date for me to make them a particular dress. I've started making them and giving them to their friends for their birthdays. I decided to start taking pictures of my creations so I can remember them! These are the ones I've made over the past 2 months.
