Christmas Eve

The kids and I spent all day getting ready for Christmas while Andy worked on the house with Chris.  We made cookies, coffee cake, and prepped the breakfast casserole for Christmas morning breakfast.  We spent Christmas Eve with Chris, Marlyse, and their 4 boys in Salt Lake at Temple Square looking at the lights.  Before we left we had the kids open their Christmas pajamas and the girls wore them to stay warm.  (Braden opted to only wear his pajama top with jeans.)  We met them at Crown Burger for dinner and then walked over to the see the lights.  I love seeing the lights and it was warmer than the past years we went so it was a little more enjoyable.  We still were cold but didn't freeze!  All the kids fell asleep on the way home.  Braden and Ella woke up when we got home.  Ella was so excited this year and was able to get chocolate milk and cookies out for Santa and she sprinkled reindeer food outside before getting into bed.  This year was the first year I didn't have everything wrapped and ready to go so we had a late night.
