Painting is halfway done! Boy oh boy, that will be a great thing to check off the list. We only got 2 hours of sleep last night but we got the upstairs painted. Tile is here. Sinks and faucets are here. Countertops are picked out, ordered, and templated. They'll be installed this Friday. Eek!! I can hardly stand it. We're getting closer. Tiling will start this week and I have a feeling other things will get checked off the list as well. My week will consist of taping, taping, and more taping and then we'll finish up painting the basement. Andy and Chris have worked into the wee hours of the morning everyday this past week. Still so much to do but it's within reach. My Dad came and took the kids yesterday afternoon up to Christine's house. They had a blast and I think the kids are feeling ready to tackle another week of the house stuff. It's definitely wearing on them and they're anxious to be done. Thanks so much for taking the kids. We wouldn't have been able to get everything done without your help!

I feel for you! We painted our entire house, every wall, every ceiling, every baseboard, every border, every door, etc when we bought it. It's a lot of work! You're stronger than I am though. I refused to tape. I thought, no way am I dedicating that much time to anything that's not painting. I just made sure to paint the edges veeeeery, veeeery carefully! I painted the edges because I have steady hand and Casey would follow me with the roller and go to town on the walls.
