Tour of Utah

Since Andy has so much free time (sarcasm noted) he decided he would race stage 6 of the Tour of Utah. He had hardly any time to train for it and had a few injuries to complicate things. He rode it with Spencer, my cousin Nancy's husband. It's known as the "Queen Stage" since it's the toughest day in any major race. Sounds fun, huh? I dropped them off in downtown Salt Lake and it ended at Snowbird. Total distance is 110 miles with 13,000 feet in elevation gain. He finished which is a huge accomplishment. I'm so proud of him. It was his first bike race ever. Go big or go home, right? I told him that's the way to do it. Have your first race be the toughest race you could ever ride as an amateur or professional and be done. You can't beat that. Good job Babe!!
