Camping

The only thing Andy really wanted to do this summer was to go camping at Tanner's Flat. We have been once before but with building the house and the busy summers we've had the past few years we haven't been able to go. We decided to go 2 nights instead of the 1 night we usually do. We decided about 4pm we were more of 1 night campers and packed up and came home. We had a lot of fun. The kids love hiking around and throwing rocks into the river. Taylor caught a butterfly and named it Sargent. Ella was scared to death of it but the other kids loved holding it. On Saturday morning we woke up and went for a big hike up the canyon. When we got back to the campsite the kids were tired, hot, and dirty and wanted to go home. But not before we made more s'mores. So we did. It's nice to get away from everything and feel like a world away even though it's only 30 minutes away. It's also nice to come home too. I love anytime we spend together as a family.
