The Girls First Day of School!

The girls (Ella and Lily) were so excited to start school at their new school that they didn't even care that it started in July! After the rough school year with a new principal, a first year teacher, 2 pregnant teachers (with one that didn't return after maternity leave), ending with 3 months of substitute teachers...we were ready for a fresh start. Ella is in 4th grade and Lily is in 2nd. They were most excited to ride the bus. I love that it comes right to our corner which will be so nice once the snow hits. They can literally stay inside and watch for the bus and then walk out the door and get on the bus. So nice! They came home from school talking about new friends and how much they liked their teachers. Music to my ears! I'm feeling really good about the change and hoping that it continues to be an awesome school year!
