Braden and Taylor were excited to run x-country at the school together. With Braden's accident he couldn't compete with the team so Taylor continued on by herself. She has done awesome! She has seriously blown me away with how good she is. After her first meet she told me that she was disappointed because she felt like she could've ran faster. She got 18th overall and 10th for her school. She is competing with 4 schools with girls 6th-8th grade. She is one of the smallest and youngest of the bunch. Taylor has pushed herself and has improved every meet. The past 2 meets she has finished 10th overall and 7th for Providence. She is the fastest 6th grader and if she can hold her 7th place finish for her school one more meet she'll make state! That was her goal at the beginning of the season but I wasn't sure if it would happen since most of the kids that make state are 7th and 8th graders. She is very competitive with herself and I'm glad she has found another individual sport to excel at and enjoy along the way.
