Year around school has it's challenges when you have older ones on a traditional school schedule. The girls started school the end of July and went off track when Braden and Taylor started school. The only request the girls had was to ride the pony at Thanksgiving Point. So we managed to squeeze that in and they were a little disappointed to find out that they ride around in a circle. I guess they had envisioned free riding in the fields for hours so the 2 minute ride left them quite underwhelmed. They noticed we were closed to Maggie's house when we were driving there so I texted Mindy to see if we could stop by. The girls were excited to play with Maggie for a few hours before heading home. With the nice weather we spent a few days at the reservoir as well. It's fun spending time with just the younger girls doing things that the older ones wouldn't necessarily want to do but it sure has been an adjustment to be on such different school schedules. I'm doubting my ability to do this for the next 4 years so I ended up putting the girls on the waitlist back at their old school and we'll see what happens. For now I'll enjoy the time I can get with just them because I know it will be over all too soon!
