This girl always surprises me. She's my shy, cautious kid for sure but sometimes she goes way outside of her comfort zone and shocks us all. She was so excited for Biz Town and it happened to be the very first day back to school after we got back from Italy. I thought since she would miss most of the unit learning about how Biz Town works that she would just apply for a small job. Nope. Ella applied and got the job as CEO of Smith's Marketplace. As the CEO she had to give a speech before they began and I was so proud of her for doing that. She had so much fun running Smith's for the day. She's a hardworker so I laughed when she told me she had terrible employees and had to do everything because nothing was getting done. She's growing up nd becoming her own and I love watching it happen. Way to go Ella!
