Taylor practicing before the game

Taylor just kicked the ball into play and was standing there
watching until the coach told her to go get the ball

Look at Taylor's face.
She just kicked the ball and her whole world stopped.

Braden throwing the ball in... he, too, waited until
his coach nudged him to go.
Well, we have officially started soccer. I think soccer is one of the greatest sports to watch kids play so I am thoroughly enjoying this. Taylor had so much fun running around "chasing" the ball. She was so hilarious because she would stop and tell Andy something or give him a high five each time she passed by. The highlight for her was definitely when she kicked the ball around mid-field (see the 5th picture, click on it so you can see it better). She turned around to look at us with the biggest smile on her face and came running over to us saying, "Did you see that? I kicked the ball! Can I have my drink and cookies now?" Apparently the game was over for Taylor and it wasn't even half-time yet. For her game it was raining and very cold so after half-time it was a little difficult to get her back on the field. Overall, I think she did great and really enjoyed it. Braden's game was in the afternoon and the weather was much better. I was amazed that he actually understood how to play the game. His team is really good and they spread out a little (like they are playing a position) and kick the ball to each other. He can't wait until he's older so he can be the goalie (they don't have a goalie position for his age group). He really loves soccer and wears/sleeps in his soccer jersey almost every night.
