We had a very busy UEA weekend! Andy was busy working at work and working on the house so I was determined to go have fun with the kids even if it meant I would be on my own. They don't all go to the same school so they are on different schedules so this would be one of the 3 times this year that they don't have school at the same time. I wanted their time off together to be great! On Wednesday I took the kids to the pumpkin patch and they picked out their pumpkins, ate donuts, hot chocolate, and candy. Thursday we went to the Rec Center and went swimming. Then we went to see Monsters University and got pizza for dinner. Friday we went to Trafalga in Lehi and I took the kids to McDonalds for dinner. If you know anything about me it's that I don't take my kids to fast food restaurants. They only get to do that if we're traveling on a long road trip to California or if their grandparents take them there. Every night we came home and they wanted a movie night. I don't think they stayed awake for any of the movies because they were so tired from the events of the day. At the end of each day they said it was the best day ever. I would have to agree. It was exhausting but worth it! It was definitely a successful weekend!!
