Our House: Week 22

This week the roof was started and it should be done middle of next week.  HVAC done.  Framing the fireplace done.  Front windows and master bedroom/bath windows were installed.  So far I love them which is a huge relief!  We ordered the front door.  Huge disappointment when the guy called back to tell us the price he quoted was wrong and that he normally honors the quote but since he was so far off he couldn't.  Really?  So we spent most of the week trying to figure that out.  The other place we found the door said they were 3 weeks out instead of 1 week like the other place.  We got the french doors ordered and will order the interior doors this week.  With measuring all the doorways we figured out that the foundation guys poured the man door 1 inch too short so now we have to decide whether to order a custom man door or have the concrete cut.  So many fun decisions this week to say the least!  On a happier note, the weather has been beautiful!  The best week of weather we've had all winter.  It feels like March in the middle of January!
