Braden was awarded his Arrow of Light tonight at Pack Meeting! I'm so proud of all his hard work and positive attitude with scouting. Boys in his age group are sparse so most of the time it was just Braden and his scout leaders for den meetings each week. (Crazy out of almost 200 kids in primary that there's only 2 boys born in 2003!) He has amazing scout leaders and Braden loved going each week. I'm sure it was hard for both Braden and his leaders to have activities with 1 scout most weeks but they were so supportive and enthusiastic and as a added bonus Braden got to get a lot of stuff passed off during those meetings! We chose Wisdom to represent what Braden most exemplified since he loves learning and has so much curiosity. They had the ceremony and painted his face with each color representing the 7 characteristics: Wisdom, Courage, Faith, Hope, Self Control, Love, and Justice. He was awarded his Arrow of Light and Compass Badge for completing extra achievements. Then he walked across the bridge to enter into Boy Scouts. The meeting ended with an outdoor flag ceremony. Great job, Braden!

Congratulations Braden! Jon use to do the face painting when he was the cub master. He would let the parents actually paint it on the kids face, so it was funny to see how crazy some parents would get!
Way to go Braden. Looks like lots of fun and something you enjoy. We are proud of you. Love, Papa and Grandma
