Family Date Night-Orchestra at Temple Square

I got a text from my friend JoLyn saying they weren't going to use their tickets to go see the Orchestra at Temple Square perform. It was perfect timing because Braden needed to attend a concert for his guitar class so we decided to make it a family date night and go. It was a beautiful evening and even though the kids didn't last the entire time we made it to intermission which came after 3 songs but it had almost been an hour. I looked at the program to see their were 6 more songs and the restless kids and knew we wouldn't last. It was already 9 pm and it probably would've gone until 10:30 easily. We decided to head out and take a few pictures, grab some ice cream, and head home. It was a fun night to get out and do something different that Andy and I decided on the way home we need to do a family date night once a month. The kids agreed! A fun tradition has begun!
