Going to the pumpkin patch has been a tradition every year to go get pumpkins for Halloween. Luckily the older kids are still happy to go even though it's the younger girls that are most excited about it. When I woke Lily up this morning the first thing she said was, "We're going to the pumpkin patch today!" I love how excited she was. Lily picked her pumpkin in the first 2 steps. It was orange and green and bumpy. It's a pretty neat pumpkin. Braden and Ella weren't too far behind at picking theirs. But Taylor. Man oh man. She walked and walked and snubbed her nose at all the pumpkins we suggested for her. After almost an hour we made her decide. The stems were amazing this year. It's probably my favorite part of the pumpkin. The kids kept laughing at me because I would say, "Oh, I love this one! Look at the stem!" It was a beautiful Fall day spent with my favorite little (and not so little) pumpkins!
