4th of July ... (in August)

We had such a great 4th of July weekend. We left early Friday morning and let the kids miss their last day of school so we could meet my family at Sand Hallow to go boating. The kids love being with their cousins and they love going to Grandma and Papa's house so this was a very anticipated weekend. Jared & Annette, Kim & Jon, Jen & Earl and their families and Jason were there. Lily got to celebrate a second 2nd birthday with all her cousins and the girls made cute mermaid cupcakes because we went to see "The Little Mermaid" that night. It was a fun show and the kids all loved sitting with their cousins watching the show until the second half of the show and they were all tired from the busy day and sat on our lap. The rest of the time was spent swimming, playing with cousins, going to church (I think we doubled the size of their primary), and eating lots of good food. We left Monday and got back in time to see an amazing firework show right off our front porch. Seriously, the best one I've ever seen. I don't even want to know how much they spent on fireworks but it went on for over an hour. I guess the only perk of legalizing aerials in Utah, right?
