We got an offer after the first person looked at our house in Ogden within a week of it being on market. We feel extremely blessed to have been able to sell it so quickly and for what we wanted despite the poor housing market. We truly saw the Lord's hand in our lives as we faced the worst possible scenario and we were still able to sell it to our buyer. What would be the worst possible scenario you ask? Just something minor like our neighbor flooding our basement with his sprinklers on the FINAL WALK THROUGH! Andy called me when he got there to tell me the news. The buyer wasn't there yet but he was certain she was going to pull back her cash offer immediately. I sat there and said a prayer that somehow it would all work out and that the house would sell. She didn't even flinch. She said she knew it was a great house and that she still wanted it. It seemed unreal as we signed papers on July 13th. I still couldn't believe that it happened and we were selling the Ogden house. I was reminded of the miracle that happened that day the basement flooded. Truly, the Lord heard my prayer and I will always be reminded of God's tender mercy along with all the other wonderful memories of "our beginning" that started in the cute, yellow, Ogden house.
