"Vacation to Mars"

At school Taylor has been studying the solar system and worked on a play, "Vacation to Mars."  Taylor was really excited about the play and had been singing all the songs for weeks.  Taylor is our most outgoing child but she never wants to have a speaking part.  Last year her teacher really wanted Taylor to have one of the main parts and I found out she refused to take the part because she was too embarrassed.  I guess the same thing happened this year.  So she was one of Jupiter's Moons.  She was a cute little dancer and did a great job.  Lily and I went to watch her since it was an extremely busy evening for us to all make it. I loved how the only picture I took of her performing was photo bombed by a person in front of me who leaned forward then sat up right as I took the picture.  Perfect.  I managed to get a picture at the end with Taylor and her friend Anna.  When we got home Taylor asked to see the program.  I was confused because I didn't see any programs when we walked in.  She told me that her drawing was chosen out of all the 3rd graders for the cover of the program.  What?  Photo bombed performing picture, check.  Missing the program, check.  Luckily she brought it home the next day for me to see it.  She's quite the artist.  Great job Taylor!!
