Here's a recap of week 29. (I can't believe we're starting week 30 tomorrow.) The drywall was mudded and the upstairs was textured. We're still waiting for the mud to dry in the basement and then that will be textured as well. The exterior was supposed to happen on Monday but they didn't start until yesterday. They will have an inspection on Monday or Tuesday for the wrap and then they will start on the shaker, board and batten, and stone. I'm so excited to see something other than sheeting on the exterior. It's going to be beautiful!! Andy made a lot of progress with the bathroom vanities. Three of them are complete. He's just waiting on me to decide on hardware so he can drill the holes in the right spot and get it painted. I have a feeling that there's going to be a whole lot of "waiting on me" to make decisions from here on out. I have spent so much time looking at carpet, wood floors, tile, stone, paint colors...you name it and I haven't committed on a single thing, except the stone because I was under pressure to get that finalize. I think I'm going to start feeling the pressure these next few weeks to finalize some major decisions. I haven't even thought about cabinet hardware yet so I'll be spending lots of time on that this week. Here's to hoping I can work well under pressure. Why is it so much easier to make decisions for someone else's house than your own???
