Our House: Week 31

Slow week this week.  The stone was delivered for the exterior.  The board and batten/shakers are still being installed on the outside.  It's moving very slowly and I'm not 100% happy with the subs we have for the exterior.  I had to call and question whether they had the spacing correct because it didn't look right.  He assured me it was right and that he would come check on it and sure enough it was wrong.  They had to rip it all down and start all over again.  I was just happy I caught it 6 boards in instead of 600...;)  I have another phone call tomorrow to them and I'm sure they won't be happy about hearing from me again.  The way I think of it is that we're saving them a lot of money from their mistakes.  ;)  Chris is coming back this week to start on finish work.  Andy and I were talking yesterday as he was finishing up the last of the vanities about how quickly this will come together in the next few months.  I've got a lot of decisions to make and not a lot of time to change my mind.
