Our House: Week 36

This might be remember as the week we would like to forget.  Kitchen cabinets got a bit frustrating but are coming along slowly.  The exterior turned into a big mess like I thought it would and we're compromising way more than we would like.  At this point we just need to make sure some things get fixed and live with the rest and hope it's not noticeable once it's painted.  Burbach Exteriors were more than disappointing and it's frustrating to pay full price for a half job.  I'm trying to move on and not get too distracted by it but it's not that easy.  We also had unexpected news from the new owners of the house that we need to be out preferable by the 13th of June but the 20th at the very latest.  They told us they were flexible and didn't want to move in until end of summer so it was quite a surprise to hear their change of plans.  We're asking them to give us until June 30th and they're going to make that work for us.  To say that is adding more stress would be the under statement of the century.  Good thing painting prep is so therapeutic for me.  I needed that this week.  Looking forward to a fresh new start tomorrow!
