This was the 2nd annual North Pole Comes to Herriman activity that our Stake puts on. Last year we didn't last long as Lily threw up 20 seconds after we got there. I poked my head to see the cultural hall and was blown away at all the effort that had been put into the activity. So we were so excited when they announced they were doing the activity again this year because we missed out on all the fun last year. It didn't disappoint. We invited our friends, the Weber's, to come with us and had a great time. Everything was perfect. They had activities at the "Elf Hideout"to play games and make an ornament, the "Post Office"to write and mail letters to Santa (complete with postcards, stamps, and a blue USPS mail drop, the "Sweet Shop" to decorate cookies and make hot cocoa with Mrs. Claus, and the nativity activity. And of course, The North Pole with Santa set up on the stage was the show stopper. Seriously, the pictures don't do it justice. It was incredible. Lily was so nervous to meet Santa. We've never gone to see Santa because that is not my focus at all for Christmas. I love how I captured her looking at him with her finger in her mouth. The girls had the best time. They had live music going all evening with different performers. It was a perfect evening. So much fun! The kids had such a great time and can't wait for it again next year.
